Lmao! I know, I know. I misread the anniversary of the site and thought the 5th was the exact day the site was born so I hurriedly tried to shoot 5 sets for the anniversary and post them. Had it not been that I would have waited longer. I am not trying to own the front page. Promise. It could also be that I have too many posts in general too. I get that. It just so happens I have time to do them so I have been.

What do other ppl have to say? Anyone think I need to lighten up on the posts? It’s ok if yes. I’m a singular task focusser and I kill jobs and tasks like an OCD so that’s how I roll. If it’s getting on ppl’ nerves I would like to know and I would certainly cool it down. Post as anonymous if you wanna stay incognito. IDM. I come here cause I love this and pissing ppl off would be counter productive to my goals so please anyone let me know if what I’m doing or how I’m doing it is bothering ppl. I would rather hear it and do something about it then just going forward in the wrong direction.

I can’t imagine anyone being upset over you posting numerous lovely and inspirational outfits.

I’ll have to check if the plugin is still available. I deleted it while trying to clean up the number of plugins the site has in an attempt to speed things up.

Let’s face it, posting the outfits we make is better when someone likes it or comments about it. Submissions are most visible when they are in the field of the 20 newest ones. If someone comes along and posts 20 things at once then all 20 of those other people get bumped off the page in one fell swoop. That would irritate me also. From the other perspective, there are no rules on the matter. You should do what you want. If you think it might be polite to give others more time in the sun, then that’s great. If you just want to clear the board of bad rubbish, then that’s fine too, but will get a hater now and then.

I have put a request on the submission page that people post no more than 5-6 posts per day to allow other’s posts to remain on the front page longer. Aeden saw it immediately and has complied with that request.

Yes, there are some guidelines. My example was an example of what could be done, nothing to do with Aeden directly. In the spirit of discussion, though, 5-6 submissions a day all at once may even be considered rude by some.

Well, I guess these potential people that might consider it rude will have to get over it or go somewhere else. I’ve already asked people to not post more than 5-6 posts per day. I will not add more restrictions.

And no one is asking for that. He just asked an honest question and wanted honest feedback. I completely get your viewpoint as the moderator. Your feedback is based on rules, or the lack thereof, and mine is more about manners. You say “Do what you want. Try to limit it to 5 or 6.” I say “Don’t be a @#$%.” Two completely different sides of the argument. I’m not sure any of it is going to be helpful. I guess we’ll see when he reads all this.

I am not just the moderator of comments on this site, I am the owner of the site.

My original comment was to correct your misapprehension that there are “no rules” about how many posts someone can submit at one time. I have posted guidelines on the submission form. My comment had absolutely nothing to do with your feedback to Aeden. He asked for opinions and you gave yours. I was not in any way attempting to say that your feedback was invalid.

You missed the point I was making and made a comment to me that my guidelines may still be considered rude by some people to which I responded they will have to get over it because I refuse to restrict people further.

Then I suppose we just have had one long failure to communicate. My example wasn’t meant to be taken completely literally. I should have made that clear. This has all gotten wildly off track because of a correction to my assumption on the rules/suggestions. I should have just said “Thanks.” I stand by my original statements, though.

I haven’t been seeing the random posts on the side. I enjoyed seeing older submissions pop up. Are we getting those back?

        Aeden,

I have absolutely no problem with how much you post to the site. I am grateful for your continued support, especially because you are gracious enough to share your tips with others and frequently post encouragement and suggestions on other submitters’ posts. This site exists to encourage people in their quest to create new looks for their characters. Your joy in doing exactly that is apparent to everyone who uses this site on a consistent basis, which is demonstrated by the lavish amount of comments where people say you are their favorite submitter to the site.

While our sense of style is very different, I have learned a lot from your posts and it’s encouraged me to step outside of my comfort zone. Anyone who has followed this site for a few years can tell my outfits and pictures have improved based on your guidance.

As the owner of the site, I am telling anyone who thinks the number of your submissions is excessive to get over it. I have set a guideline of no more than 5-6 posts per day. I will not restrict anyone further than that. I highly encourage everyone to post, post, post. Play around with new ideas. Try something different. Do something crazy. Have fun. The point is not to make the perfect outfit that everyone thinks is the best, but to enjoy yourself.

First off thank so kindly Exile for the kind words. You really moved me and I appreciate your support and clarifying the sites rules. Atlantic I really appreciate you bringing up your points as well because you did bring up a point that I believe was valid. During my first 30-40 posts I loved the front page and I was always happy to see my stuff up there so I totally understand anyone else who has put the effort into making a set and shooting it albeit to see their post gone from the front page within a few days or shorter. I’d have to be a serious jerk not to acknowledge that the reason Exile limited daily posts was because of me. At least in part if not whole. I need to own that because i once posted something like 23 sets on a single day which is pretty ridiculous.

Now site rules aside I want to remain in touch with other peoples desires and respect one another here so there is no animosity between ourselves. Mostly on my part because the frequency that I post can be instigating. There are a few other people that post multiple sets at a time and within reason it’s ok but I still think I may be excessive at times. I wanted ppl to speak up if this is just flat out bothering them for one of two reasons. Was the amount I was posting too much on the front page or rather was my style becoming boring and not interesting anymore? In the comment section since I’ve been here I’ve had requests and suggestions that have made me change and push myself and that was my ultimate goal. It can get boring to see the same toon with as many posts as I have so I try to diversify myself to keep it fresh by trying new things. I just created a commando last night ?.

I must apologize though. I really wanted to open the door to criticism but I didn’t mean it so seriously that it would evoke any negativity. I like to keep things light most of the time and I think it’s most important to keep in mind what Exile said about the point of the site having fun and enjoying what we create. Even though I may still be under the sites rules it’s important to me that I don’t ruin other peoples good time in the process.

Exile, thanks for setting the record straight and Atlantic I appreciate the criticism. It’s how we grow and respect one another.

I’m trying to write this as my daughter is watching Moana at the song “You’re Welcome!” Ugh!

As I said once, there’s no such thing as too much Aeden. Atlantic has a valid point, yes, but from what I understand Exile has everything under control with this new “Rule of Five”.

Keep up the good work and and we all love ya!

You asked an honest question. I thought it extremely unlikely that anyone would try to argue the opposing viewpoint, so I did. I feel that that opinion should have been taken at face value, not as a literal example and not as an attack on you or Exile. My personal opinion falls somewhere in-between. The next time you need a devil’s advocate, just let me know.
