I know as a consular this is against the grain but he’s a shadow and likes to look tuff.
The dark suit has different gloves named above and I used the Heavy Gunner’s Boots for the black suit though you can’t see. The black suit has only a primary dark gray dye and the Freedon Nadd legs have color match turned off.

Very nice! Also…the wrists actually aren’t hidden with the Stalkers Gloves, there’s an opening on the underside of the gloves where you can see the wrists 😉 …and it’s too bad the mask has blue in the dark version which I’m sure is a color match bug from them deciding to swap the primary/secondary color palette and the fact you used a primary only dye slot with the dark version, BW has been liking to ruin my outfit ideas by doing this lately with certain slots of some of these newer armor sets! 🙁
Good call on the gloves. Only after you mentioned this did I notice that I didn’t put the right wrists in to match and make it all white. Damn! I hear you to about the tertiary colors that come in to mess with our armor colorings but this one was intended. The blue in the helmet is secondary from the chest and I don’t mind it and it can be changed. Adds a little more depth to it than solid black does and there’s a nice purple tinge and blues on the chest as well that are secondary.
I know what you mean though. Some of the best armor pieces in game are ruined by unchangeable colors. eg: Imagine even Satele Shan’s boots without the leather unchangeable colors. Ugh! Why????

Oh I know what you mean about undyeable portions, but that’s not really what I meant! hehe 🙂 A lot of these newer sets have screwed up color match due to BW flipping the primary/secondary colors around on different pieces of the same set, which I think annoys me way more than undyeable parts. So in this case, the primary dark gray replaced the blue on the chest and kept the dark purple metallic areas, color match with the headpiece though, you still have the dark gray, but you’re now getting the blue as a secondary instead of the purple. Anyway, if you don’t mind that’s all that matters! 😀
Ah I see what you mean now and I have noticed that. Some really awesome pieces have their primary/secondaries switched and it sucks. Like the new Intelligence Officer boots….secondary main color? Ugh! Not so bad if you find cheap dyes with your secondary but if you’re after any certain color you’re gonna be screwed I imagine. I think the Freedon Nadd pants are the same too and that’s not as bad as they are black when turned off of color match. Not sure what the reasoning is behind it but at least I get your point now. lmao! Thanks for the heads up. I noticed it but haven’t heard any mention of it till you just did.
Okay! I’ve had my fun and now I’m selling my secrets so y’all can have some fun making better screenshots. Here it is. Inside that little dark pipe is where you get the best shots in game imo. There is nothing else like it on Taris or anywhere for that matter. It’s not just that it’s a dark backround facing the sun but there are shadows from trees that add a lot of depth to your photo’s. Have at it peeps. Should be accessible to both factions and there is no aggro unless you fear Lvl 15 Rakghouls. So if you’re gonna rock out on some screenies you’d do well starting off here before anywhere else. GL and have fun!

Nice, I was wondering where these screens were taken…how you got such light on your character with a basically black background. I’ll have to take some shots there now, got several outfits I’ve not posted yet! 😛

Okay, I just tried this on imperial side and sadly the lighting is entirely different. The pipe is almost completely in the shadows here. 🙁
It may be worth checking some other places on imperial Taris but that’s something to do when I’m really bored 😉

That’s messed up. Had no idea the lighting was so different between the factions even in the same area. Really sorry about that as I had no idea. I was really looking forward to seeing pics from both factions. Boo!!!
