Stardate *unreadable scribble*, um, well. Dear diary, today was Lieutenant Pierce' birthday. I think. I took this as the perfect occasion to get rid of the Twi'lek slave who was annoying him so much. I traded her for an entertainment unit, model "Blue Angel".
When it arrived just in time for the party, the doorman let it pass and sent it up unaccompanied. *Set reminder: punish and fire doorman after breakfast.*…*Addendum: my breakfast.*
The unit was physically intact and seemingly undamaged, however, the dance routines were not triggered by music as described in the manual. *Set reminder: find and punish manufacturer. Replace QA and QC personnel.*
I immediately apologized to the Lieutenant for his ruined birthday surprise. Fortunately we managed to enable the imprint & editing mode and prompted the unit to rewrite its dance routines.
I could tell the Lieutenant was pleased with the final performance.
