Question, do the glowy bits change color based on the crystal or do they stay yellow like most other staff types?

Pretty sure Qyzen can only use techblades, so no. You can check it in the skills menu (press P).
I bought this item back when it was for sale on the GTN as an individual purchase. I had it on a couple of my companions. I recently logged into a character I haven’t used in awhile and noticed the companion can no longer use the staff. I tried equipting it on my assassin and I can’t use all my abilities (even though I see posts that say that bug was fixed in 2.0). Can anyone tell me who can successfully use this staff now? or are we out on that money we spent for it? This kinda gives me pause purchasing specialty items if they are going to be useless at a later date. Thanks.
