Why doesn’t this armor set contain leg parts?
20 May 2014 @ 0045
Same reason the torso doesn’t have a dye slot to unify to? i.e. no logical reason?
23 May 2015 @ 1231
There is a logical reason so you can have the character run around with Armoring, Mod, Enhancement, and Augment on without showing anything.

I agree, odd that they provide something for feet but not pants.

Or a headpiece.

Head slot can be hidden anyway, so it wasn’t really necessary to add something here.

I don’t see any armor here. This is just the standard underwear of all the female characters in the game.

The entire point of the Covert Energy set is that it’s invisible. Hence, the part at the top of the post that says “This set is invisible.”

If I had to guess, the point of this set being invisible is to match with other armor sets like, say, the Stylish Dancer set, which has a legs, chest and head piece, but no belt, wrists, hands or feet. Having the belt, wrists, hands and feet pieces of the Covert Energy set would hide the actual armor itself and only show the Dancer set, right?

That’s one example, yes. Most sets also already have a belt or bracers “painted on” and with the covert set pieces they remain visible. In outfit designer these pieces can be used to prevent the armor in the base slots from “shining through” in empty outfit slots.

For those of you who read this before purchasing, the Covert Energy Armor Set is NOT Legacy-wide. It will be bound to the character you purchase it with, so make sure that you purchase it with the character you want it for.

Whats covert about running around in your underwear? Why just not make you invisible for 10 seconds?

This set is most useful for the individual pieces to be used with various Outfits. Perhaps Outfit 3 is an armor set that doesn’t include a belt, but you don’t want to see the belt you’re actually equipping. So you commit the Covert Energy belt to that outfit, and no belt is visible.
