First I've recreated my old RPing skin (that I made myself, and can be observed in the background on Jaesa) for a RP Community Game in Jedi Academy. After a while I've decided to improve upon the theme of that same character (named Darth Djinn in Jedi Academy's RP) but since that RPing timeline happened after Episode 6, I've changed the narrative to fit it into SWTOR era without changing the character's essence. Basically this armor is a Isotope-5 enhanced equipment after Makeb's storyline (causing the lightsaber to change the red crystal color into Cyan, and making it extremely unstable, hence the use of the weapon tuning).
Since my character was an extremely practical figure, and values knowledge above all, once he faced Isotope-5 Droids he figured it was the next best thing to avoid any sort of immunity against his lightsaber, as well as enhancing his own armor and equipment with it and attaching a Isotope-5 holoshield to his bracers to at least enjoy some of that very advanced tech. My headcanon as for why nobody else tried to use it to enhance lightsabers is it's extreme instability, so he maintains the lightsaber pieces together through constant use of the force while it's turned on.

Backstory seems kinda OP for an OC, but you do you. It all depends on your RP partners. Can’t make much from the outfit though, pics are too dark.
Doesn’t really change anything tbh, it may sound OP, but in practice it really isn’t. Lightsabers already can cut through anything on their own, if he enhanced with Isotope-5 means his LS can’t get stopped by Isotope-5 shields, not much to it, just a refresh to the status of lightsabers.
Having a bracer with holoshields fueld by the same resource, also do not change much, can have extra means of blocking attacks, and armor is less likely to get penetrated, but, there’s still a lot not covered, and it isn’t a full body shield, hence can be beaten by technique or force prediction (if someone focuses on avoiding his holoshielded arm), not hard really. “OPness” is making something that has no flaws, powerful = something that has limitations.
I’ve seen tons of people call something overpowered in RPGs over the years, when in fact there’s nothing overpowered about it.
Pictures aren’t dark, they are just low res default screenshots, all I’ve seen there were complaints, you’re either envious or deliberately trying to attack me for no reason.
I’m just calling it like I see it. Didn’t intend to insult you, and I don’t really see how I could have come up as envious. Sorry for sharing my opinion, I guess.
screen shots are kinda hard to see
and he seems kinda op no?
