I’ve been looking at this outfit for a long time, enjoying it immensely, but not “getting it” as to what it is about this costume that keeps bringing me back over and over again.
Today it finally hit me! It’s those loops hanging down from her belt. They remind me of a pair of suspenders (American-style, lol) that have been shrugged from her shoulders. That’s what makes this outfit look so eye-catching.
