Lady Maesa Rist – The Progenitor

    • Character: Lady Maesa Rist of The Progenitor
    • Imperial Agent: Operative
    • Submitted by: Nyethux

Of Rist father and Thul mother, Maesa officially belongs to House Rist but she grew up with her mother’s family during the exile of House Thul when they refuged with the Empire. As such, she considers herself a member of both houses and is welcome and respected by both of them. She grew up away from her home planet, dreaming of coming back to Alderaan and fueling her hatred for the other houses and the Republic, and at the same time she developed a big sense of gratitude and debt to the Empire. As a noblewoman she was instructed in diplomacy, politics and manners but as a Rist her father taught her the arts of assassination and she excelled in both things, so eventually she realized she had very useful skills to help the Empire in its war against the Republic and she joined Imperial Intelligence, seeing it as a way to repay the debt her family owed.

Maesa is a kind, polite and sweet woman. She rarely loses her manners, and she’s emphatic and good. She doesn’t like cruelty or violence if there isn’t a reason for it. However, she will be the first one willing to kill, manipulate, backstab or torture if it helps her mission. In other words, she is good but she will always put her mission first and get it done. Respectful and obedient, she accepts the way the Empire is ruled and she will always show respect for her superiors and for the Sith, no matter how crazy, annoying or childish that sith might be. She is dutiful and she considers herself honorable, and will have big arguments with people who insults her house saying that the Rist are without honor – always without losing her manners, of course. Maesa is the kind of person who will stab you in the back and then give you a polite smile.

She considers herself an imperial, but overall she considers herself an alderaanian. Her dream would be coming back to her home planet and staying there to help create an alliance between Houses Rist and Thul and make House Thul get the crown. But she sacrificed that dream when she decided to dedicate her life to the Empire. She gets many assignments in Alderaan, though, because given her connection to the noble houses and her understanding of them she is useful there, but she won’t complain when they send her away. She is willing to give up anything for the Empire, anything except for her identity. Maesa has a strong sense of self, of identity, of who she is. It doesn’t matter the names they give her in Imperial Intelligence, she will always be Lady Maesa Rist, and that helps her remember what she is fighting for.

About the outfit: I’ll upload more customized outfits of her in the future, also more agent-like ones, but I figured this should be the first one with her. I changed the pants because I didn’t really like the white Rist ones but it’s supposed to be a full Rist outfit. The Thul outfit is the full Thul Statesman Armor Set.

Please comment, I love to hear opinions :3
