In 3673 BBY, as the Great galactic war raged. One sith, Lord Larem landed on Aldeeran. A planet were war between the Republic and Empire raged, with Jedi Satele Shan leading the Organa-Republic forces and Darth Malgus leading a group of sith, with Thul and Imperial support.
Lord Larem saw the war, he saw Imperials and sith die at the hands of the Republic, he saw a Jedi attack and destroy an entire battalion of Imperial troops. Not only was he angry, but he quickly realized that this would not work in a long term.

The Empire, which was still young, could not afford to lose so many troops. They needed to defeat the republic, kill the Jedi and obliterate the corrupt senate.
But they would never happen as long as these long stalemates where fought.
As a Sith Lord there was only so much he could do. Instead of trying to convince or fight the Dark council, he did what he did best. He thought.

And he remembered an old text left on Korriban by Ajunta Pall, founder of the Sith Order. The Text described a ritual that strengthen the flesh, which made the user immune to pain, it effectively created super soldiers. But it sorely lacked details, and Larem didn’t know what to do. But it had sparked his interest and he started researching the subject.

He traveled the galaxy, searching for other texts mentioning this ancient ritual, he teamed up with some of the sharpest minds in the galaxy to figure out what this ritual could possibly entail. And then finally, he realized.
This was not a ritual using the force or the dark side. What was described on the various texts was a direct modification to the person him or herself.
Luckily for Larem, those scientists he had teamed up with earlier were as curious as he was. They started studying on how they could possibly change people’s natural attributes. And then, almost exactly 4 years after he started the search, they found it.
It had no name, since they had effectively created it. But Larem named it “Rex-modificare”.
They went to the Dark Council, showing their discoveries, and they told them how they could create super soldiers that could turn the tide of the war on several planets just by being there.
They got themselves a budget and started working. They created a machine, they would scan the subject’s genetic code.
The machine would identify specific genes, like the ones responsible for muscle growth or length and then with a combination of Dark side magic and science they would modify the attributes of this gene.
It made the subjects, faster, stronger, gave them more endurance. They could also effectively turn of pain by removing the gene string that responded to what we understand is painful.
There was only one downside, scanning through a person’s genetic code, finding specific genes and modifying them is not cheap.
Quite the opposite, doing it to 25 people would cost as much as a Harrower-class dreadnought. To take that in perspective, A Harrower-class dreadnought is 800 meters (2624ft) long, had a crew of 2400 and costed 10 years’ output of a major mining colony!
These modifications were not cheap, but they did it. Say what you will about the Empire, but they are willing to try new tactics.

And on the 18th of May 3667 BBY, the first “Rex-modificare” soldier exited the headquarters on Dromund Kaas. Her name was Adrianne, she was a captain the Imperial guard. But from now on she was simply known as Colonel. Colonel Leopardia. They had modified the muscle growth in her legs, meaning that she could run twice as fast, twice as long and jump twice as high. They had also modified the genes responsible for lung tissue. They had made them expand much more, other than the obvious results, like even more increased endurance, this meant she could hold her breath for 10-15 minutes, which is very useful if you are firing on long ranges, since the breathing interferes with the stability of the weapon.

Soon other soldiers would leave, 27 females and 23 males to be exact. All of them were captains or higher rank in their respective regiments and battalions. Some of them were Ace fighter pilots. Some of them were Chiss Guerrilla fighters. Some were regular soldiers.

They were deployed on planets were the Empire were losing, and many of them were responsible for decisive victories by themselves.
During the sacking of Coruscant, 3 Rex Soldiers were there working in a group. And they engaged and took out 2 Jedi masters, 11 padawans and 9 Jedi Knights. At once.

Their list of victories and heroic actions second that of the Emperors wrath itself. Among other there participated in the legendary battles of Hill 57, The Battle of Lokust and the retreat of Juhanil. All of which Leopardia participated in.

On the 12th of April, Leopardia was called in to Hoth with 5 more Rex Soldiers. A Jedi master had just landed on Hoth with 12000 Republic troops with the intention to force the Empire of Hoth and end the stalemate.
Leopardia and her squad were dropped down on the main Imperial base, where they met up with General Hyrsten, the Imperial forces consisted of a total of 11,000 men, whilst the Republic army’s numbers were approaching 20,000. Understandably General Hyrsten didn’t want to attack the republic army when outnumbered this hugely, so he marched north, away from the Republic base of operations, in order to find more recruits and train those he already had. Amongst other things he looked to recruit some Talz Tribes.
But as he left the Imperial base, he realized it would be completely unguarded once he left. So he sent a small group of 50 soldiers, including Leopardia and her squad, to do guerrilla attacks on t republic army and slow them down. The plan was that the 50 men would slow down the Jedi master and his army long enough that General Hyrsten could assemble more soldiers. But this distraction would be far more successful than anyone had hoped. Because in 5 days those 50 soldiers would engage and destroy the entire right flank of the Jedi master, which consisted of 7000 men mind you. The Jedi master would be outflanked, he panicked and surrendered. To 50 men.
But I’m getting ahead of myself.
Leopardia, her squad and the other 44 soldiers immediately marched to a hill they had scouted, it was very steep meaning it was hard to attack, and it was in the centre-right of the republic forces, meaning that it would effectively hold back the entire Republic Right flank if they didn’t attack. So they marched there, set up a small camp, built a crude trench at the top of the hill and mounted some heavy blasters there. All was quiet and calm, as it usually is before the storm. And then one morning they saw fighters, about 15 of them, fly above them. A few minutes later they saw some scouts arrive a few hundred meters away on speeders. And then 2 hours later they started the see the full army. 2 Battalions, 6000 Republic troops were marching towards them.
49 soldiers on the top of the hill looked down on the republic army in horror. Leading them was Colonel Leopardia, who looked down on them with a big grin on her face. Next thing they know artillery fire started raining down. They ran for the cover of their primitive trenches, and when the rain of death ended they remerged. Now they saw another 2000 republic troops standing on an adjacent hill on the east. And as the look to the west they saw scouts, an unknown number of enemy troops were there too.
Leopardia almost died as a result of lack of oxygen because she laughed so much. One of the soldiers that followed her, who was not a Rex Soldier, walked up to her and asked her “Why are you laughing, Sir” she stopped laughing and turned around and looked at him, still with a big grin on her face and she said. “Those poor bastards got us surrounded, they can’t flee from us now.”
The soldier nodded and returned to his position. A few minutes later the attacked started. The first wave consisted of 2000 republic troops. They charged straight at the hill. The Imperial soldiers opened fire at them, the rex soldiers especially. They took positions on the front line and held back the attack.

Leopardia with a blaster rifle in one hand and a blaster rifle in the other took out 50 Republic soldiers in the first 5 minutes of the engagement. Another 15 minutes later, 900 Republic troops had been killed by the Imperials and they called for retreat. On the Imperial side they had lost 0 Rex Soldiers and 3 Imperial troopers. As a matter of fact, the soldier that spoke to Leopardia earlier returned to her, now also with a grin on his face and told her. “I understand what you meant earlier, now”
This pattern happened over and over. The republic would attack and would be repulsed. This went on and on until Leopardia made a decision. She said that this could not keep on forever and eventually they would be destroyed if they didn’t do anything. So she took her second in command, Captain Arabella and went on a mission. They sneaked through the Republic blockade and managed to get themselves behind the main force in the south. There Leopardia would tell Arabella to stay where she stood, and provide covering fire if necessary. Then Leopardia snuck down to the camp, found the Jedi leading it and assassinated him. She walked into his tent from behind without making a sound. Pulled her vibroblade and started walking towards him, he sensed her through the force and pulled his lightsabre but she casually dodged his slice and then cut of his hand before stabbing him right through the eye.
With him out of the way, she found a torch and started setting fire to the camp whilst throwing smoke grenades and shouting “We’re under attack! We’re under attack!” In pure confusion the Republic army started attacking itself. Everyone were running around in the darkness, with smoke everywhere and screaming everywhere they had their fingers on the trigger and shot at anything that moved.
A Republic artillery officer noticed the chaos and ran there. He heard one soldier scream “Fock the Empire is here” and in the confusion the officer thought the man said “For the Empire!” and he ordered his artillery to open fire down the camp. When morning came 4000 Republic soldiers had killed each other, and their food and ammunition supply was completely destroyed.
The new commander of the forces was furious at these developments and ordered everyone, in the south, east and west camps to attack. And they did.
Leopardia and her men saw in horror as thousands of republic troops attacked on all sides. She jumped out of the trench and looked at the soldiers. They returned the look. She sighed and said. “Well they clearly didn’t learn their lesson from the last attack. Seems like we’ll have to defeat them again. Don’t worry though, we defeated them the last time, although they seem to be more now it doesn’t really matter. If we can defeat 2000 we can defeat 8000. Let’s go and kill ‘em.”
The battle started and blasters shot rained across the sky. Republic fighters strafed above the Imperials dropping firebombs. Within 30 minutes the eastern and western part of the trench was overrun, amongst the casualties were 30 of the Imperial soldiers and 3 Rex Soldiers. Including Captain Arabella who had singlehandedly held of the attack for 10 minutes before getting a lightsabre stabbed into her lungs. She looked up at the Jedi with a smile on her face, as blood was dripping out of her mouth she raised her blaster. The Jedi looked at her with confusion, and then with horror as she pulled the trigger. The Jedi and Arabella hit the ground at the same time, both dead.
Leopardia was getting angry, really angry. She stood there in the middle of the trench, with the few surviving soldiers around her, 2 Rex Soldiers and 10 Imperials. Shots were flying through the air all around her when she starting stepping out of the trench. She stood outside it and started looking around. On the right she saw Arabella’s corpse with 15 Republic soldiers and a Jedi lying around her in a semi-circle. On the left she saw the young soldier she had chatted to earlier lying on the ground with two blaster blots in his face. She then looked south and a few hundred meters in front of the hill she saw the Republic commander sitting outside a tent with macrobinoculars looking at the battle. They briefly made eye contact. She grabbed her blaster and pointed it towards him. She then released the most powerful shout she could, which echoed across the hills. Everything went silent, the Republic and Imperial troops stopped shooting and looked towards the source of the sound.
She looked backwards and saw the only two surviving Rex soldiers stand beside her, they nodded to each other. They started running downwards the hill, with thousands of republic troops in front of them. They had been fighting for hours now, they had lost count of the amount of soldiers they had killed but they were covered in blood. They ran down the hill firing at everything.
Leopardia launched herself behind the corpses of two dead republic soldiers and used them as cover, she then pressed the trigger of her blaster three times and in front of her three republic soldiers fell down.
A Jedi force charged towards her, she easily dodged his attack. He started swinging his lightsabre towards her, she dodged all attacks. Just as the Jedi was drawing back his sabre she kicked him in the leg, making him loose balance, then she pulled her vibroblade in her left and struck it straight into his throat. The Jedi gurgled some bloods and then fell over beside her. She kept running down the hill, shooting wildly at everything that moved. Her blaster ran out of ammo, so she threw it away. She grabbed her blaster pistol and kept firing. And firing. And firing. She and her three squad mates kept firing until there was nothing left to fire at.
It wasn’t until now that Leopardia actually started thinking again, the last half hour or so she had been blindly consumed by rage and grief and charged. Now she finally realized how tired she was, and she realized that she had been shot about 5 times. She looked upwards and saw that the sun had set and that the moon was up. She had no idea what time it was or where the republic army was.
And she was too tired to find out. She fell down on a rock and immediately fell asleep.
She was woken up by one of her squad mates, he started shaking her and said “Colonel, colonel talk to me” she, still extremely tired, just made some moaning sound at him and lifted her hand to cover her face from the sun.
She thought to herself “So it’s not night anymore. Huh, what happened” she asked her squad mate, where are the Republic? He looked at her and then pointed towards eastwards, a small slope was covering her line of sight. So she assembled all her strength and stood up. She started walking towards it, slowly. And once she reached it she could see over it. On the other side there was an almost perfect semi-circle of republic troops, she was too tired to count them but there must be hundreds of not thousands of them there. She then remembered the last minutes of the day before and looked down the hill towards the tent where the republic commander had been earlier. And very well nothing was there.
She was too tired to pursue them or to search for his body. She was too tired to do anything. She just laid down and went back to sleep whilst one of her squad mates tended to her wounds. A few hours’ later five gunships landed on the lower side of the hill.
Out of them jumped a few sith and several troopers, all with weapons in hand. There are no word in the English language to describe the surprise on their face when they saw the amount of Republic corpses on the hill. They walked over and started searching for survivors. And there was where they found Leopardia and her two squad mates, all sitting on a side of the hill, all of them shot at least once. They were taken back to the Imperial HQ where they were put in Kolto tanks to heal their wounds. Once they exited, Leopardia was immediately jumped on by General Hyrsten who was asking all sorts of questions.
“What happened” “how did it happened” She just replied, you told us to hold the border and stop the republic from advancing, and that is what we did. The General then told her about what had happened to the rest of the republic army. A few scout-fighters had seen that the republic forces were at half strength, they had no idea where the other half of those soldiers were. Well until now. They were dead lying on the slopes of Hill 57. Which was popularly nicknamed “Killer Hill” after the battle.
The rest of the republic forces refused to attack, they knew that 50 Imperials had just defeated 10,000 Republic troops including Jedi’s. There was no way in hell that they were going to fight 15,000 Imperials, they were not insane. When the Jedi Master tried to order them too, they mutinied and killed him. As soon as they could the remaining Republic forces ran off Hoth and the planet was secured by Imperial forces. All thanks to Leopardia and her team.

That was just one of many slaughters that she was responsible for.
Leopardia has participated in every major battle of the Great galactic war. She has become something of a living legend. A hero for the Imperials and the eternal fear of the Republic army. Once on Balmorra an entire Republic battalion retreated and refused to advance just because they heard rumors they Leopardia was at Balmorra.

Another time a Republic regiment was holding a coastal position against the Imperials on Aldeeran. The Imperials could not break through their fortifications so they called for help. Leopardia and 9 more Rex Soldiers landed on Aldeeran and approached the fort from the sea. They jumped down in a transport and stared moving towards land whilst the imperials on the deck of the Dreadnaughts that had landed on sea were cheering at them. But once Leopardia reached the fort she found no soldiers, just empty trenches. The republic soldiers had heard that Rex Squad had been called in and had ran away as soon as they saw them approach.
Leopardia still fights, now in the galactic war against the republic. She has amongst other fought alongside the legendary Emperors wrath and Darth Nox. She has engaged and defeated some of the strongest Jedi’s in the galaxy. You would be surprised, according to the legend Jedi’s like Jedi Master Orgus Din was killed Darth Angral, a long time enemy. But in reality Darth Angral decided not to fight him and instead called in Leopardia. Who engaged at him with two vibroblades, and with them she swiftly and brutally cut of his right hand, unarming him. Then pressing one of the blades into his abdomen and cutting it open. As he fell over on the ground, dying she walked over to him and whispered into his ear. “Consider this, killing you was easy. And now just as easily I’ll destroy everything you’ve ever held there” she then walked over and stepped right into his entails. In excruciating pain Orgus Din died at her hands. Later she would engage his apprentice, who just barely managed to survive as an artillery shell hit Leopardia launching her across the room before she could deliver the killing blow.

She is a great warrior, and she lives up the first part of that title. War. Anyone that has opposed her has died. In the end there is no grey outcome with her. Either you fight for the Empire or against it. And anyone who opposes the Empire is her enemy, and her enemies die. She loves to keep her defeated enemies alive just long enough to look at them in disgust and tell them how worthless they are as they die. She often encouraged people she duelled with to defeat her. She often let them get a new weapon if she disarmed them once, just to draw the fight and their suffering out. It wasn’t until they were completely exhausted and wounded that she would finish it off. But before killing them she would remind them that they were worthless excuses for human beings and all that they were good at was wasting oxygen before landing the killing blow.

She is a legend. A living one at that. She has many nicknames. “Death in black” which is a reference to her black clothes. She has been killed “Siqsa” by those who speak Ancient sith, meaning Demon. And on Korriban many simply greet her as Chirikyât, which is ancient sith for “She who causes them (the enemies of the Empire) to tremble with fear.
Wherever you are. Whoever you are. She is closely, and she can kill you. No one has been able to stand toe to toe with her for longer than a minute. Jedi master or sith lord.

As they say in the army.
“Thousands of kills, a woman and her blaster. Beware the bravery of the Imperials. Just stay out of sight and cover your head, when she pulls the trigger you’re dead.”

//OOC Well that was a bloody long biography. Sorry if it was TOO long, i’m not really a TOR Fashion veteran. I just wanted to share the story of one of my favorite characters. This is the kinda of stuff that i really enjoy to do with my chars. And if you enjoy it please tell me, because i got a metric ass ton of other characters with just as extensive backstories. Yes i am a no lifer. No i dont plan on getting one.
