Biographical Summary: Troomis was born during the great war, in the Tion Hegemony, and raised with his siblings as spacers.
When he was of age, his parents enrolled him in business school on Kaon. Troomis was expelled in his 4th year after he was indicted as the ringleader of an exam fixing scheme that he had apparently been running since his 2nd year; 7 instructors were fired for their role in the scheme.
After leaving Kaon, Troomis joined up with a group of ‘transport specialists’ to help with their ‘logistics management’. During the 18 months he flew with the team, Troomis discovered a previously unknown talent for medicine, and quickly learned the ‘sawbones’ trade from the crew doctor, Ronar Fenwick. His run with the team ended when they were captured by pirates; most of the crew was killed or taken as slaves, but Troomis and a few others accepted offers to join the pirates.
Troomis took on a role as a medic, and during the next 9 months, Troomis learned a great deal of martial skills, knife fighting, blaster combat, and made good use of his business education to help identify and catalog pirated goods for possible resale. Troomis also learned some rudimentary computer knowledge in slicing, cybernetics, and armstech.
When the treaty of Coruscant was signed, both the Republic and Empire tightened the shipping lanes, and the pirate gang was soon run aground on Balmorra. Troomis met up with a bounty hunter named Serck , and the two struck a partnership. For the next two years Troomis apprenticed under Serck as a bounty hunter, learning the hunting trade and expanding on his skills as a slicer, medic, and combatant.
During the resurgence of war, Troomis saw the opportunity to make a lot of credits from the Empire, the Hutts, and the Republic; his broad skill set made him a candidate for any many contracts. Troomis saw combat action on all over the galaxy during this time, and invested his earnings in his business. By the time of the Invasion of Correllia, Troomis owned his own Nar Shaddaa sky palace, converted from a living space and outfitted with any of the facilities he may need to manage his business, and a hanger of atmospheric and space vehicles for transport and combat.
The war with Zakuul presented yet another opportunity for freelancers like Troomis, and he has made lucrative gains from all sides of the war, including both the Eternal Empire, the Alliance, and his old contacts in the Empire and Republic.
Troomis now operates out of his Nar Shaddaa facility, selling his services to the highest bidder.
